The Visitors

Okay, so I've heard of the show "V" before, since some of my family watches it, but I've never seen it before. So iTunes put up a free episode of the first season, which is episode 5, and its basically a half an hour recap of whats happened so far. And I am really digging the alien invasion shit.

Note to self : Try not to swear.

It looks awesome and I can't wait to watch more. I am thinking that this either finished or unfinished show has itself a new fan.

No More Dance

Okay. So to you non-existent reader or readers, a huge part of my entire life has been dance. I even was accepted into the Royal Winnipeg Ballet when I was in the sixth grade, but I came out of RWB, realizing that dance wasn't something I wanted in my life anymore.

I have loved dance for as long as I can remember, and I've never been without it. It has taught me so much about so many things, even things that dont pretain to dance, and this year, I am no longer doing any dance at all.

I am excited and nervous. I am excited because of how much I no longer love dance, and kind of scared. For my entire life I have been casted and labelled as a dancer, and no one has ever known me for anything else but it. And I'm now going on without it, and I am leaving it behind. It is for the best, but it will be weird at first.

So there. A little bit of my personal life. Out with the old, in with the new.

Lets Kill Hitler

FINALLY ! Doctor Who Season 6 Part 2 ! GERONIMOOO !
Okay - SPOILERS.

Okay, I'll come out and say that I have never before shipped River and the Doctor. Never. In fact I have always kind of despised it. But, I think I've had a change of heart. When Melody/River saves the Doctor after a change of heart near the end of the episode, they had me at "Hello Sweetie". I am now on board with this relationship and think its adorable. Not to mention Alex Kingston is fucking hilarious when she flirts. And Matt is all together just. Amazing.

Also, the "Prequel to Lets Kill Hitler", had me almost crying. I have been a full on fan of Karen Gillan since she joined the show, but oh goodness. In about a minute and a half, she brought her game. Totally bought into Amy's story even more, and I wanted to go find her baby myself.

I absolutely adored the growing up scenes/flashbacks with Amy/Mels/Rory. During the fifth season of Doctor Who, I didn't like Amy and Rory. I was full on Doctor and Amy, but my mind was changed at their wedding. So anyways, I LOVED THESE SCENES. Amy thinking Rory was gay is hilarious and soooo common in real life, it was priceless and they are adorable together.

This episode, however quick moving and confusing, was a perfect way to kick up some dust and questions with us viewers and I don't think the future episodes can come quick enough.

"What the hell, Let's kill Hitler."

Orla Gartland

I feel a need to talk about a certain singer named Orla Gartland, who mostly posts her songs and covers on the youtubes. Okay, so I like a couple of the really cool youtube musicians but this girl is crazy talented. And I will prove it to you in 4 minutes and 22 seconds. Really. I will. Don't believe me, go ahead - watch this :

Enjoy her beautiful song ~

Animal Crossing Obsession

Okay. So I'll admit that I found my Nintendo DS yesterday and have been obsessively playing Animal Crossing ever since. I had forgotten how awesome this thing is ! So now I feel like a child on christmas with a new toy (thats actually a couple years old), and I am embracing my inner-Nintendo Nerd.

I Wish

Okay. So I am willing to bet a lot of money that I am not the only one that wishes that Matt Smith (11th Doctor) and Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) were secretly married/dating/wonderfully in love. They are so adorable together its hilarious. So yes, whenever I see photos of them together, the fangirl in me squeals in joy.

Here's Proof.

Aren't they adorabe?

The Art of Getting By

Okay. Not gonna lie, I am a huge Freddie Highmore fan. I used to have a huge crush on him when I was younger, and when I found out he is going to be in a new movie (alongside Emma Roberts), I flipped with joy. Now, little did I know, that Freddie is all grown up. I mean, the kid looked 11 until a year ago. Of course he is 17 now (or something like that), and now he's doing a new "mature-er" film.

Now, Emma Roberts, who stars alongside Freddie Highmore in The Art of Getting By, I have usually always kind of despised her acting. From Aquamarine, Wild Child and Unfabulous, I just really couldn't stand her. I do however, adore her in It's Kind of a Funny Story. And I have a feeling that I'll warm up to her in this.

I am very excited for the movie, and cannot wait to see Highmore and Roberts on the big screen again.

Zoo Time & Shopping

Hola folks. The other day, mother decided to take my sister and I to the local zoo. I'd like to take the time now to point something out. I love animals, and the ones in the zoo. Although this is true, I usually dread actually going to the zoo, maybe its the fact that those animals are caged against their will, but thats another argument/discussion.

Anyways, to attempt to be back onto point, the reason I usually don't enjoy trips to the zoo is simply because I find it too boring too quickly. Its hot in the heat of the day, and to be honest I have a warm body temperature to begin with. Gargle. So anyways. Here is a flamingo.

After the zoo, yeasterday we went "back-to-school" clothing shopping. And as you may have guessed, I am not a huge fan of shopping in general. Anyways, after a seemingly average day of being dragged through a mall against my will, I now have clothing for this upcoming year. Oooh joy.

Morning Glory

Well, some of you non-existent readers might have either seen or heard of the movie "Morning Glory", (Starring Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, Dianne Keaton and Patrick Wilson). I, have just seen the movie for the first time the other night and had mixed feelings about the supposedly "witty and charming" film.

On one note, Rachel McAdams is adorable, Patrick Wilson is decently handsome and Harrison Ford is well, Indiana Jones (brilliant).

Although this is true, McAdam's performance was a little stereotypical of the typical over-achiever. Wilson's character, however witty, was bland and seemingly unnecessary. Harrison Ford's character seemed to be nothing but a resentful old man, even when apologizing on national television.

Sorry. Not my film I guess.

The Source Code

Okay, so I was interested in seeing this movie since I first saw the commercials for it a while back. Although, I thought I had the ending all figured out. To my "guesstimation", I figured that "Christina" (portrayed by Michelle Monaghan) would be both the pretty girl our male hero falls for, but also the bomber. Now, I was wrong. So half way through the movie I thought that perhaps, Mr. Sean himself was the bomber, therefore creating both the internal and external struggle of stopping yourself.

But I was wrong.

Note to non-existent reader: SPOILERS.

It was Derek Frost, portrayed by a man who I recognize, but I can't seem to remember his name. Anyways, so yes, I did in fact thouroughly enjoy The Sorce Code, and thought it was rather, I'm not sure. I just really liked it. It may have something to do with the fact that I think the main male lead is adorable. (Jake Gyllenhall).

Anyways, I highly recommend it.

Trying Not to Explode

asdfghjkl;lkjhgfdsa.

I'm sorry. That type of language shouldn't be used here. I am terribly sorry. But I have a good reason, I promise.

The Sims2 website is still down, almost what, two weeks, three weeks maybe? More even? Anyways, you can imagine my disappointment (or maybe you can't), when I arrived home from Camping to check it out& begin to download immediately and the SITE WAS STILL DOWN FOR F*CKING MAITNENCE.

Note to self : Try not to swear.

Back from Camping

So yes, I survived camping. No, bugs didn't eat me alive, and no I didnt die from lack of a proper shower. In fact, I caught a couple awesome-ly huge beetles and did some fishing whilst covering my need of a shower up with a baseball cap. Yup. You heard me right, Noella actually enjoyed "roughin' it" in the uppernorths.

We also stopped a little further uppernorths to a quaint hotel where we did a lot of bookstore -hunting and antique shop -admiring. I managed to read four books in seven days - (The Calder Game, God Loves Ugly, The Declaration, and Things Not Seen) I highly recommend Things Not Seen and The Declaration, by the way. Other books high on my list to read this summer (that I got whilst in the uppernorths), are; Virals, Invitation to the Game, and Wreck this Journal. Wreck this Journal perhaps isnt much of a "reading" type of novel - but its brilliant and I've already started to destroy it.

Last Day - Downtown

Camping in T-Minus 1 Day, folks. Which means today, is our last day with Mum before heading off to Dad's for two weeks. (Gotta love screwed up summer schedules for shared custody.) And to "have fun" last day, -Insert Sarcasm Here- we're off to Downtown.

Yes. Shopping for girly shit and fancy accessories.

Note to self: Try not to swear.

So thats my day. Hanging out somewhere I don't want to be - funfun. -Insert Heavy and Noticable Sarcasm Here- I hope you non-existent readers enjoy your days more than I will.

Note to self: Keep a positive attitude.

Got into Pottermore

YES ! At last. Finally I understand and demonstrate my little knowledge of noticing and clicking on a Magical Blue Quill. TODAY, is the day that Noella gets into Pottermore, people. Write it in your calendars. Well, maybe don't, but to me it was a pretty momentous occasion. I am really excited to get my validation email and suchness so I can continue into the magicalness of Pottermore.

It would be pretty badass if I posted the answer to the clue for today, wouldn't it. Tempting, but I am not raising any sort of heck with the Queen of Potter -JK Rowling is our queen- Just, the clue is easy and the quill is hard to miss, you're a smart cookie, aren't you non-existent reader?

Opinions on the Lovato

Say what you want about Demi Lovato, how she's an awful replica destined to be the next Miley Cyrus from the Disney Channel, but personally I think she is absolutely brilliant. Sure, I don't like all of her music per say, but I like some of it. And what I like I love. You don't have to like her music to admire her story.

She is the perfect romodel that kids and even teenagers can look up to. Sure, she has done some shit and been through a lot. But look at her now, post-rehab and recovering in a healthy manor. She shares her story of hope and change to those who thought it could never happen to someone who had been through it. Well she went through it and came through it, stronger than ever.

Okay. I'm done shoving my opinions down your non-existent throats. I'm done being serious and sappy too. K Bye.

Doctor Who Withdrawl Symptoms Showing

Doctor Who Withdrawl Symptoms:
= The common activity of mentioning anything along the lines of; "Geronimo", "Spoilers!", "Fezzes/Bowties are cool", "DOCTOR!", "Stupid Face", "Interdimensional whatcha-ma-call-it" and anything of that nature.
= Constant Re-watching of previous Doctor Who episodes
= Often checking into Doctor Who forums for new spoilers (or just plain-jane information
= Doctor Who marathons every other night (Or every night)

As you can probably (and rightly) assume, I have been doing ALL of the above. I am a little obsessive when it comes to such things as Doctor Who. So much that I am painting my bedroom door accordingly to the Tardis. Hellz Yes. Nerds for the win.

Camping - T-Minus 2 Days

Okay. This is going to sound pathetic, but I haven't been camping (not including shitty school field trips) since I was about three. -Insert self pity- But this weekend, we're going camping. I am not really sure how I feel about this. I really enjoy the idea of camping but when it comes to "embracing nature" I really lose interest for the most part. Don't get me wrong. I ain't all ; "Ewwwwwwww. I broke a nail! FML!" and suchness. In fact, I despise prissy little girls like that to be honest, but I am not really into the whole no showers and a lot of bug problems. I am a little OCD so the "clean" issues might come into play. Kinda sucks Dad doesn't know I have OCD. -Oops.-

Note to self: Mention that.

But honestly, I couldn't be more excited about getting to see such a gorgeous area of our country and such, but I am not a number one fan of bugs in their natural habitat. At home, I am all over bugs. Love 'em. Partially because I'm boss in my own home, and I don't fancy entering their homes. -Hah I'm super lame-

I am Going to Sue Sims2 Creators

Now hear me out before you go assuming all sorts of shit.

Note to self: Try not to swear.

I have a reason, and well to be honest I really don't have the balls to actually sue anyone. So chill kiddo. But I am on the verge of sending a very strongly worded letter to the upkeepers of the Sims2 website. It has been down for almost 2 weeks and I am extremely impatient. Gargle.

Also, I have all these ideas for sims (because I basically eat, sleep and breathe this game because I have a point zero social life) and I can't download anything thanks to the makers of Sims2. FU.

Note to self: Try not to imply swearing.

Brave - Pixar

For those of you either without cable, internet connection (in which case WTF ARE YOU DOING HERE YOU MAGICAL BEING), or a life, Disney and Pixar have recently released a small movie trailer for a new fantasy animated movie, namely, called Brave.

From what I can tell in the minute video, its about a bouncing redhaired girl named Merida, whom I am guessing (from the voice over) comes from some sort of Scottish heritage. There are some magical little blue lights in the forest outside from where she lives, (her town, village, or city if you will) and she is clearly very brave, as shown with her slaying a bear probably three times her size with only a single arrow. (Hence the title people. Creativity at its best.)

Anyhoo, (Goodness I actually hate that word) As you can probably guess or assume or whatever you want to call it, I am actually quite looking forward to its release in 2012 or 2013 (not sure which). It looks interesting enough to keep me awake and attentive the whole time (unlike the ridiculous chipmunk movie, which I only sat through to see Zachary Levi, whom I am quite fond of).

Renovating Room

Well, for those of you non-existent readers who do not have the "pleasure" -Insert Sarcasm Here- of knowing me "in real life", you should know that my life is two things, 1) Very inconventional, and 2) A lot of talk and not a lot of walk. Knowing this, my saying that I am renovating my room for the first time since I moved to the place where I am (which was in the first grade), should mean very close to nothing. But this time, (I think) it is actually going to happen hopefully next week whilst I am away attempting to camp without dying of internet and Doctor Who withdrawl.

My Plan? Navy blue and beige walls, white and wooden furniture with a giant world map and a slick looking desk and organiser to attempt to sort out my life, (Nice try Mum.) a kick ass rug to cover my severely stained carpet, and some plain-jane curtains to hide the blinds in need of dusting. I hope at least. It'd be nice to get rid of the princess-pink that is currenty taunting me, me being someone who is not particularly fond of the colour pink. Heh. Posters hide it alright, but its still there underneath. So I am disposing of pink and bringing in something a bit more... livable.

Almost Pottermore

I'm not going to lie, I was pretty excited on all three occasions and times that I woke up this morning. I had set alarms to check for Pottermore's "Magical Quill" to try to get into the website early. And I got the clue right and was granted access to Scholastic's Potter page. Although to no surprise, I must have missed the glowing quill at the top of the page, and I missed the time limit before the gateway closed this morning. Sigh.

So now, I do infact have to try to time my waking up tomorrow perfectly to get onto Pottermore early and much before October. Hopefully I will remember to press the fucking quill.

Note to self: Try not to swear.

If you are an abomination to the world and don't know what Pottermore is, here is the link you horrible human being. Just kidding. Sort of. : http://www.pottermore.com

Awkward Introductions

Hola, Salut, Hey... or any other awkward introduction you'd prefer here. I'm Noella, and this would be my sorta-personal blog. Well, by personal I mean my thoughts that I decide to share publicly with the entire world. -Insert Irony Here- (By the way, these first couple posts are copied over from my old blog that didn't work how I wanted it to.)

I have continuously tried to run and upkeep these "blog" thing-a-ma-bobs, but I think the longest one has ever lasted is about a month before: a) I forget login information , b) I lose intrest or time, c) Lack of commitment people. We all have it.

So anyways, here we go again. I'm going to be honest with you, I don't expect much, people. Random interwebians who I will never believe exist or are actually interested. Heh. Here's part of my life. Do what you want with it, but nonetheless here is my attempt of sorting things out in my own confuzalled brain.
