Finally Feeling Better

ALAS ! Although I stayed in today once again, I am now able to keep solid food down and nausea is once again forgein. *Happy Dance*

Still spending all of my time exploring Pottermore, and I've finally mastered the Forgetfullness Potion. So thats lovely shit isnt it?

Wow. I seriously need to set some higher goals for myself.

Waiting to Sleep

I am so tired. I want to fall asleep right now. But, I have to wait for something.

I need a social life. And good health.

Name Confusion

Alright, so for my Novel Planning, in honour of NaNoWriMo, I as you might have known have been doing some serious brain storming explosions. So anyways, I've been stuck on this one character, with a little bit of significance to the plot line, but not a main character per say. Anyways, young boy, probably aged from 12-15. Haven't really decided the details on him. Dusty blonde hair, green eyes, kind of hard headed. Anyways, so I've been stuck on choosing a name for him. I'm torn between Fletcher, Dakota, and Jonah.

I might be jinxing this by saying it, but if you have a preference and would like to help me out please comment or whatever. I suppose. I am kind of rubbish at this sort of thing.

Blargle

My boredom seems to never end. Well, less boredom and more just blarg. I feel a bit like an iPod with a 10% battery charge. Being sick, its not too forgein to me, but I guess I was hoping I could prolong it a little longer until I had completed a more significant amount of school work, but I have received no such luck.

I've been having a bit of trouble with potion-making on Pottermore, mainly the second half of the process. I don't seem to have a future as a Potions Professor. Also, since Wizard-Dueling is down at the moment, there are very few ways of racking up house points right now, and sadly Hufflepuff is in last place. Although, that was expected, wasn't it?

I've been watching far too much of The Big Bang Theory, I wouldn't be surprised if I wake up tomorrow babbling on about the molecular compounds of an alien species hiding in my cupboard. Although, I wouldn't complain about that too much. Aliens sound like a laugh.

Pottermore Support Message Overload

ASDFGHJKL. Okay, so since I'm home sick this week, I've been spending my time doing two things, Pottermore, and sleeping. So basically, a lot of that time has been devoted to me sitting infront of my computer screen melting my brain infront of Harry Potter magic.

But, since everyone is doing the same thing as me, trying to get as much time on Pottermore before it opens to all in October, so the website is having some meltdowns. And to my dismay, I am repeatedly getting this message :

Sad face.

Sick Saddness

Sadly I have come down with the flu, and sadly am bed-ridden until I have stopped upchucking my attempts at solid food intake.

Anyways, so since I am stuck at home for a while, I'll be spending my time on Pottermore and playing Sims 2 with lots of Doctor Who and TBBT marathons until I'm better.

Pottermore Acceptance (Hufflepuff Pride)

*Happy Dance* I finally recieved my Pottermore welcome email this morning, and I am finally on. After trying to figure the whole wonderful site out, I have been sorted into Hufflepuff, and I own a wand made of Apple Wood.

If you too are on Pottermore, please feel free to add me as a friend : ScarletSparks85

Closing Time

SPOILERS !

ASDFGHJKL. That is really what will sum up this whole 'shpeel' if you'd like to skip through it.

OKAY. So Craig, I've missed you, you're absolutely adorable. MATT SMITH HOLY FUCK ARE YOU PERFECTLY BRILLIANT. Ack. I loved Matt Smith in this episode, especially with his 'Baby Chats with Alfie'. He was so perfectly adorable and amazing.

And when he saw Amy and Rory in the shops, ASDFGHJKL, did my heart break or what. I am seriously going through Karen and Matt withdrawl by the bucket loads. And Amy and Eleven withdrawl. And Amy and Rory withdrawl. I kinda wish she could just fall in love with everyone (or part of me does at least).

So all in all, good episode, right ? BUT WAIT.

The writers decided to be information ninjas and sneak in about a minute of River Song tie ups. ASDFGHJKL. So much information overload its fucking ridiculous. I think I am still hyper-ventalating twelve hours later. I cannot wait for the next episode.

The God Complex

SPOILERS !

OKAY ! Sorry I've been away for so long, although I doubt anyone notice I thought I should point out that my absence has been medical, so I'm not just slacking off. Anyways, the important thing is that I'm back now so all is well in the world, yes ?

I have finally managed to catch up on my Doctor Who fix for the week (s), starting with The God Complex.

OKAY. Steven Moffat you fucking twisted man, this episode will probably give me nightmares about creepy vantriliquist dummies, possesed people and whatever the fuck was behind the Doctor's door.

Note to self: Try not to swear.

But besides that, holy shit did I have a little bit of a break down. Amy and Rory leaving is TEARING ME APART. I mean, yes, their time to leave was coming after the two seasons in which they've been around, but ACK. its come on so suddenly ! Yeah. It was kind of sudden, but it got me wound up about it.

I'm going to miss the Ponds.

The God Complex - NOTSEEN

Ohhhh no. The joys of split custody. At Dad's house, I get Doctor Who galore. At Mum's? Not so much. So yesterday, as any Whovian will know, "The God Complex" aired, and I am currently at Mumzy's house for the week.

This means, I have to wait until NEXT weekend, to see the episode. This, in a nutshell, means Noella is dying a slow and painful death at the moment. Fuck my life, I miss the Doctor too much. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.

Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey... Stuff.

Matt Smith Appreciation Post

Be Prepared Kidlets.

The Song the Caged Girl Sang

OKAY KIDLETS. So here is another interesting (boring) fact about little old me. I enjoy writing, but you probably could've guessed that much. If you're clever. Are you clever little kidlet ?

So anyways, last year I participated in NaNoWriMo, (which you would know if you waste your time actually reading my blog), and then a couple months later I entered my now completed first draft of my book (Lost in Identity) in another book competition. Long story short, I didnt win, but I did beat out 49,000 other contestants ~ So this year, I am obviously going to be writing another book. I've got too many ridiculous ideas in my head not to. So anyways, Lost in Identity has died. I've lost interest in it. Its not going to get any better, so I've given up.

Anyways, knowing me, I've already started to plan a book for this year's competitions, named "The Song the Caged Girl Sang".

Note : If you aren't interested, stop reading by all means ~

Anyways, here is a quick little intro to it :
"The Outside is dangerous. Everyone in Ridgecroft knows that. There isn’t one person who lives within the glass domes of Ridgecroft who isn’t afraid of the outside. But that’s a lie, isn’t it? There was one girl who wasn’t afraid. She was brave, and she saved everyone. But let me start from the beginning. This is a story about a song. It is the song. This is a story about the song the Caged Girl sang."

This Week Has Been...

I have found this week rather.. draining. I wake up feeling like a rather zombie - like persona. I mean, it could very well have to do with the fact that I have been staying up late, and my body is physically incapable of regular sleep patterns, but I'm convinced the world hating me has some part in it.

Rather than the recent watching of two new Doctor Who episodes, this week has sucked. Its been long and draining and lot of up "upping and downing".

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate drama? A lot.

Locked Out

ASDFGHJKL. I am officially locked out of Tumblr. I would like to die, pretty please. I was simply minding my own buisness on tumblr, and then all of a sudden I accidentally click the ninja fucking log out button near an ask box, and POOF. Logged out.

No big deal right? WRONG.

So I think innocently to myself that no big deal, just log back in. BUT, Tumblr hates me, and therefore does not recognize 1) ANY of my email addresses I own, 2) ANY of my passwords. So I am officially locked out and it is driving me mad.

If I am not clinically insane by the end of the week, watch out. The world is gonna end early you 2012 fanatics.

NaNoWriMo Profile

Hola space rangers, it has just occured to me that while I was going on about NaNoWriMo, I never actually thought to post up my actual profile link.

It should be noted that this profile states that I joined today. That is true, but only because I had my account from last year, but I hated my username and I am unable to change it, so I just made a new account now and updated the novel information to fit to this year's competition.

Painting Spree

Okay, so I'm a fairly artistic person (not skillful, but artistic), and recently I have been painting WAY too much. I think I've inhaled enough of the fumes to make me hallucinate. Maybe just a little bit.

All of my clothing, electronic devices, and my kitchen table are all coated in multiple layers of acryllic paint. Sorry Dad...

The Girl Who Waited

So for me, I have no cable at my father's house, so for any television shows I usually have to wait a week or a bit for before I get to view them via iTunes. So finally, yesterday I got to see Night Terrors (Very good, btw) and The Girl Who Waited.

For any fellow Whovians, Amelia/Amy Pond has been a spectacular companion in all aspects, but holy SHIT did Karen Gillan outdo herself this episode. To recap, Amy gets stuck in a hospital physility while Doctor and Rory are in a different time stream and have to come and find her. All the while, Amy is stuck for 36 years on her own, fighting off the robots that work in the hospital to avoid death. When Rory and the Doctor finally come to her aid, Amy must make a decision if she really wants to be saved by the men who left her behind.

Anyways. It was a brilliant episode, with phenomenal acting from Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill (Rory) especially. I cried a bit at the ending even, it was beautiful.

NaNoWriMo Excitment

Last November 2010, I participated for the first time, in NaNoWriMo. For those of you who don't know, NaNoWriMo stands for Nation Novel Writing Month. It takes place every November and it is the worldwide goal to write 50,000 words of a novel in only 30 days. Its exhilirating, stressful and bundles of fun, and last year  I finished the month with about 51,000 words, completing the goal.

This year, I could not be more excited to take part in NaNoWriMo again. I am already brainstorming ideas and plots with settings, characters and titles. Its crazy fun and I advise ALL ages above 13 to go sign up. Its totally free, and comes with a world wide supply of supporting fellow-writers who chat constantly on the forums. On the forums there are also places to help get out of sticky plots or get one moving, adoption societies for character names and places to go, and plenty of encouragement to finish that 50,000 word goal.

Happy Writing !

Back to School

So here it is. Summer has officially ended and the school year has begun. Sigh.

But on the upside, I have no classes on Fridays, only one on Thursdays and two on Wednesdays. That is good, maybe I'll just make a starbucks block out of all of that spare time.

Hopefully I don't procrastinate as much this year.
Hah. What am I doing right now ?
