The Art of Getting By

Okay. Not gonna lie, I am a huge Freddie Highmore fan. I used to have a huge crush on him when I was younger, and when I found out he is going to be in a new movie (alongside Emma Roberts), I flipped with joy. Now, little did I know, that Freddie is all grown up. I mean, the kid looked 11 until a year ago. Of course he is 17 now (or something like that), and now he's doing a new "mature-er" film.

Now, Emma Roberts, who stars alongside Freddie Highmore in The Art of Getting By, I have usually always kind of despised her acting. From Aquamarine, Wild Child and Unfabulous, I just really couldn't stand her. I do however, adore her in It's Kind of a Funny Story. And I have a feeling that I'll warm up to her in this.

I am very excited for the movie, and cannot wait to see Highmore and Roberts on the big screen again.

Morning Glory

Well, some of you non-existent readers might have either seen or heard of the movie "Morning Glory", (Starring Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, Dianne Keaton and Patrick Wilson). I, have just seen the movie for the first time the other night and had mixed feelings about the supposedly "witty and charming" film.

On one note, Rachel McAdams is adorable, Patrick Wilson is decently handsome and Harrison Ford is well, Indiana Jones (brilliant).

Although this is true, McAdam's performance was a little stereotypical of the typical over-achiever. Wilson's character, however witty, was bland and seemingly unnecessary. Harrison Ford's character seemed to be nothing but a resentful old man, even when apologizing on national television.

Sorry. Not my film I guess.

The Source Code

Okay, so I was interested in seeing this movie since I first saw the commercials for it a while back. Although, I thought I had the ending all figured out. To my "guesstimation", I figured that "Christina" (portrayed by Michelle Monaghan) would be both the pretty girl our male hero falls for, but also the bomber. Now, I was wrong. So half way through the movie I thought that perhaps, Mr. Sean himself was the bomber, therefore creating both the internal and external struggle of stopping yourself.

But I was wrong.

Note to non-existent reader: SPOILERS.

It was Derek Frost, portrayed by a man who I recognize, but I can't seem to remember his name. Anyways, so yes, I did in fact thouroughly enjoy The Sorce Code, and thought it was rather, I'm not sure. I just really liked it. It may have something to do with the fact that I think the main male lead is adorable. (Jake Gyllenhall).

Anyways, I highly recommend it.
